| Description | The transporter room is the main way to go to and from the ship. It de-materializes people and cargo and then reverts them at the destination. While transporter use is common on many core worlds, the way ships frequently run into trouble means a good transporter chief is essential for success. The room includes biofilters and storage for away team supplies. There are four main transporter rooms on the ship. However, typically only one is in use at a time, as at least one always down for maintenance unless absolutely necessary and another is reserved as a backup. The available transporter room rotates with each shift to make sure none of them get too overworked. There are also cargo transporters in the main cargo bay. |
